Our Practice
Urogynecology Consultants has been serving the healthcare needs of women in Northern California since 1991. Larry Bowen, M.D. established the practice with the goal of becoming the preeminent private practice for urogynecology and pelvic surgery in the Sacramento Region. In 2006, Wesley Hilger, M.D., joined the practice and brought additional minimally invasive surgical skills including robotic surgery. More recently Kimberly Hernandez, PA-C and Nina Vasiliev, PA-C joined the team to help provide non-surgical therapy for patients as well as Well Woman Care. Debbie Hutter, RN has specialized training in female prolapse and incontinence and has run our urodynamic lab since 1999.
Urogynecology Consultants’ practice focus is gynecologic conditions that may require surgical intervention or advanced treatment. We specialize in female conditions including:

As a tertiary referral practice we receive patient referrals from primary care physicans, gynecologist, urologists, colo-rectal specialists and neurologists. We do not practice obstetrics. Our physicians’ advanced training allows them to offer the most thorough, up-to-date and accurate evaluation and the latest, least invasive surgical approach for your condition including da Vinci robotic surgery. In addition, our practice offers well woman care in a gynecology only office setting.
